The
Danubius Spa hotel can be found in the middle
of the small picturesque town not far from the
historic
castle of Sarvar, the castle of Nasady, which in the period of the
renaissance was the bastion of the reformation.

in botanical gardens with many different species
of elegant trees creating a peaceful and relaxing
atmosphere to soothe the mind, body and soul.

the thermal mineral waters and a modern bathing

An
evening stroll into the fascinating town centre
of Sarvar with its fine restaurants and interesting
shops is an idyllic way to end the day.
The
Spring of SAVAR - RABASOMJEM rushes up from
a depth of 2000 meters with a temperature of
83c. This medical water contains 4.5% of various
salts, the important components of which are,
sodium chloride, hydrogen carbonate, iodine,
bromine, fluorine and a number of trace elements.
It
reacts as an alkali, with a mild antiseptic
property due to the high concentration of halogens.
The very advantageous effect of using the salt
of the bath crystal has been for its beneficial
effects with gynaecological inflammations and
painful conditions of the abdomen. The bath
cures have even been credited with aiding long
wished for pregnancies!
The
diluted solution of the salt, spring-water of
Savar-Rabasomjen also shows healing powers
in cases of chronic inflammatory or allergic
respiratory diseases. The
other spring water of Savar rushes up from a
depth of 13000 with a temperature of 48c. After
convective cooling, the water is fed into the
bath, swimming pool and the butterfly bath in
the therapeutical section.
The
water is also an alkaline water with a content
of 0,5% minerals thus giving a biologically
mild effectiveness. It contains mainly sodium
chloride, hydrogen carbonate, and trace elements,
but none of the sulphur or radon. It is almost
odourless and crystal clear. The main power
of it is in the application of heat.
Both
springs are successfully applied in Savar to
a great number of complaints: diseases of a
chronic inflammation or degeneration of the
organs of the locomotive region, rehabilitation
after fractures, orthopaedic operations and
neurological complaints
In
two third of the cases after completing the
2-3 week complex and individually composed programme,
significant improvement can be gained, furthermore,
frequently the complaints come to an end.
The
phase of convalescence after accidents or operations
is considerably shortened by the bath-cure.
Patients can move without restriction the water,
and they can do exercises, which could not in
other ways be achieved.
Sometimes
the duration of the bath is prescribed by the
doctor so that the circulatory system is barely
loaded. Intensive effect on blockading the sympathicus
is achieved especially by the salt water, the
neurasthenic syndromes are reduced to zero,
the bath reduces stress and aides sleeping,
the body is generally regenerated and conditioned.
Year
on year the traditional therapies are extended
and integrated with new therapies and treatments.
